The Car Park adjacent to us is a council operated pay and display car park accessed from St Marychurch Road (A379).  We’d recommend using the RingGo App (Hampton Ave. 15829) as it operates start/stop. {tip content=”A second car park is down Chilcote Close, across the main road, just 2 or 3 mins walk. Free street parking may be found in Higher Downs road, but this is limited and you would need to arrive early to have any chance..”}More parking options{/tip}

TOP TIP – Allow at least 2.5  hours and take your time!   The Model Village is much bigger than most people anticipate, as everything is in miniature you will miss a lot at a fast pace. The attention to detail is amazing with lot’s of ‘hidden’ and subtle detail, puns, humour and animated scenes at time intervals.  Take a slower pace and/or go around twice, it will greatly enhance your experience.

What’s New – check out some of the recent additions  and what’s coming new – details here

No cash – we are a cashless business and only taking card payments on-site (Visa & Mastercard). {tip content=”Over the last few years businesses face increasing difficulty paying in cash, and getting change, as many banks are closing. Our nearest bank branch is now in another town.  This is causing an increased risk for staff travelling further to deposit cash.  The vast majority of our customers were paying by card anyway and it is no longer economically viable for us to pay a security cash courier a lot of money to collect a relatively small amount of cash and deliver coins for change. Having no cash on site vastly increases the security of our staff.”}Why is this?{/tip}
