The Model Village is set in 4 acres of award-winning gardens. It is a unique attraction showcasing hundreds of hand-crafted 1/12th scale models and scenes. Full of humour and ‘hidden’ gems, along with some well-known landmarks. As part of a major revamp, many new models and scenes have been added in the last few years, but some old favourites continue to delight our visitors.

Make it a full day out
The Model Village is set in an place of outstanding natural beauty and one of the prettiest areas on the English Riviera. If looking for a group day out in Devon a visit to the Model Village can easily be combined with the Babbacombe Downs offering its famous stunning views and the cliff railway to Oddicombe beach. Just 3-4 mins walk around the corner is the Bygones Victorian street museum – a fully immersive step back in time. Babbacome Theatre is on the Downs. The often-overlooked St Marychurch shopping precinct with a range of individual shops is just 2-3 mins walk from the car park.
All these sights can be accessed from the car park adjacent to the model village and are just a few minutes walk. It is easy to spend anything from a couple of hours up to a full day in the area.
