Important information about your visit
As you explore the village, your dog can accompany you with a few exceptions & rules….
1/ They must be kept on a short lead, stay on the designated pathways and you must come prepared to clean up any doggy dos. This ensures the safety and enjoyment for all visitors.
2/ Dogs are not permitted inside the coffee shop (except for guide or assistance dogs), but you can use the outdoor terrace offering panoramic views.
3/ Dogs cannot go into the indoor displays, (except for guide/assistance dogs) – Customers will have to take it in turns to visit the indoor areas whilst someone looks after the dog outside in the gardens. About 90% of the visit is outdoors.
We politely request that you abide by these rules so we can continue to allow dogs!

MAKE IT A FULL DAY OUT
The Model Village is set in the beautiful Babbacombe bay area. Within an easy 5-minute walking distance are the Babbacombe Downs with spectacular, not-to-be-missed views.
Beaches across the English Riviera are open to dogs from 1st October to 30th April. During the summer months there are plenty of beaches that allow dogs including Babbacombe Beach.
