The Model Village is set in 4 acres of award-winning gardens. It is a unique attraction showcasing hundreds of hand-crafted 1/12th scale models and scenes. Full of humour and 'hidden' gems, along with some well-known landmarks. As part of a major revamp, many new models and scenes have been added in the last few years, but some old favourites continue to delight our visitors.

2022 Group Rates for 20 or more people: Adult £11.50, Senior £10.50, Child £9.50
For smaller groups of 4 to 19 people - if you prebook on our website you will get our '4 or more paying' discount of 50p off gate prices.

MAKE IT A FULL DAY OUT?
The Model Village is set in an place of outstanding natural beauty and one of the prettiest areas on the English Riviera. If looking for a group day out in Devon a visit to the Model Village can easily be combined with the Babbacombe Downs offering its famous stunning views and the cliff railway to Oddicombe beach. Just 3-4 mins walk around the corner is the Bygones Victorian street museum - a fully immersive step back in time. Babbacome Theatre is on the Downs. The often-overlooked St Marychurch shopping precinct with a range of individual shops is just 2-3 mins walk from the car park.
All these sights can be accessed from the car park adjacent to the model village and are just a few minutes walk. It is easy to spend anything from a couple of hours up to a full day in the area.
A visit to Babbacombe Model Village provides a fun and educational journey through the last six decades of English life and culture. This gives children a fun insight into the sights and activities of their parents and grandparents life through the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s to present day. Stepping further back in time the model village has model buildings with many archtectural styles from medieval, through Shakespearean, to Victorian, offering an informative insight into our history.
