The Mythical Kingdom

Babbacombe Model Village has created an indoor land of miniature mythical characters all magically animated to bring them to life.

A masterpiece of hand-crafted modelling.  Over 30 miniature animatronic characters come to life, along with amazing theming, sounds and magical lighting, to immerse you into this mythical land.

All of the scenes are bespoke and crafted by hand, ensuring amazing attention to detail along with lots of hidden humour.  Fairies, goblins, dragons, trolls, owls, pixies, leprechauns, the magic spell book and more, all come to life in their miniature worlds.

Every element of our indoor mythical kingdom has been meticulously hand-crafted in-house by our dedicated team.

From the intricate carvings to the vibrant colours that bring each corner to life, every detail is a testament to the passion and skill that went into creating this immersive world. The structures, landscapes, and fantastical creatures were all carefully envisioned and brought to life through a combination of craftsmanship and creativity.

In addition to our in-house work, some of the animated characters that roam our Mythical kingdom were crafted by the renowned Victorian Model Workshop, known for their expertise in creating lifelike, moving figures.

Whether an adult, child, casual admirer or model enthusiast, we are certain you will be awed by our new creation. 

This is included in your visit to the Model Village.

The detail is incredible – take your time, allow time for your eyes to adjust to the dark and look very closely for all the ‘hidden’ details, puns & humour!
