HOW TO VISIT – TWO OPTIONS.

As everything is miniature, some of the details in our models & scenes, the beautiful gardens and the ‘cute bug’ spotter sheet characters are not so visible after dark. We cannot floodlight the gardens too much as it will ruin the magical effect of all the tiny lights! 

It is important to experience the Model Village in daylight too!

Use our one free return visit within 7 days – On your first visit ask admissions for information about our free return visit. Keep your original admission receipt safe.  You will need to show this along with a special voucher and your original card payment method (as one proof it is the same people returning).  Everyone must return at the same time and the person who paid must be present. You can use this any way around – visiting day or evening first.  It is valid on the 8th day (for example, if you first visited on a Saturday, you can use the return any day up to and including the following Saturday). See times & tips below. Free return is non-transferable and conditions apply.

OR

If you only have time for one visit – Arrive before it starts getting dark, enjoy a daylight visit first, experiencing the model village in its finest detail. Have a game of Crazy Golf and enjoy the spotter trail.  Then go around again after dusk for a completely different and enchanting atmosphere. Why not enjoy a pizza and refreshments in between! You need to allow at least 2.5 to 3 hours, aiming to arrive around 7.00-8.00pm. The lights come on at dusk, currently about 8.30pm.  See dates & times below.

GOOD TO KNOW & TIPS…

Experience the Amazing Magical Illuminations in our indoor MYTHICAL KINGDOM (open all day).

REFRESHMENTS:  Our coffee shop will have Pizzas and hot snacks available all afternoon and evening – why not enjoy a pizza whilst waiting for it to get dark!  SEE HERE

Long Light evenings – Dusk is a good time to experience the lights too, but bear in mind that during July it will only be getting very dark within the last hour of opening.  Aim to stay until close for the full effect of the lights.

What if it is raining?  If it’s the only evening you can do and it’s only showery or light rain, why not give it a try.  There are some indoor attractions and the lights and illuminations create amazing reflections in wet/damp weather. Remember, if this is your first visit, you can use our ‘One Free return within 7 days’ to come back on a drier day.

Latest entry time – To avoid disappointment and allow enough time, be sure to arrive before latest entry. At certain times in the year this will mean arriving before it is fully dark.

August 29th to September 25th– Every Friday evening,10.00am to last entry 8.00pm (park closes 9.30pm), Illuminations from dusk.

October 26th to 31st – HALLOWEEN Frightlights: A Halloween Adventure – Open 10.00am to latest entry 7.00pm. Lights on from 5.00-8.30pm

CHRISTMAS 2026  – Nov 21st, 22nd, 28th & 29th. Dec 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th and daily from 19th to 31st (except closed 25th & 26th). Jan 2nd & 3rd 2027 (Closed Jan 1st). Open 11.00am to latest entry 5.00pm. Lights on from 3.30-6.30pm
