USEFUL THINGS TO KNOW .....
The Model Village is a large outdoor attraction set in 4 acres of beautiful gardens with hundreds of models and scenes to enjoy - miniature in scale but a big experience awaits you!
Highly Recommended, Traveller's Choice - No.1 attraction in Torquay on Tripadvior
Follow us on Facebook or Instagram - to stay up to date with events, what's new and offers.
Current Opening: 10.00am to latest entry 3.45pm, park closes 5.30pm (see further down for full opening details)
New Crazy Golf - Included free with admission. No cash - we are a cashless business and only taking card payments on-site (Visa & Mastercard). Why is this?
Our coffee shop open 10.00-4.30, is serving takeaway drinks, snacks, plus light bites & paninis at lunch-time.
The main car park adjacent to us is a council operated pay and display car park, we have no control of it. Taking coins (we don't carry change), cards or using the 'RingGo' app. We'd recommend using the RingGo App (Hampton Ave. 15829) as it operates start/stop and no need to worry about time (remember to stop it). It's accessed from St Marychurch Road (A379) not Hampton Avenue. More parking options
TOP TIP 1 - Allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours, longer during school holidays! The Model Village is much bigger than most people anticipate and as everything is in miniature with lot's of hidden gems, humour and animated scenes at time intervals, the longer you take, the more you will see and experience. A slower pace, and going around twice, will greatly enhance your visit!
TOP TIP 2 - During school holidays - afternoons, from around 1.30pm onwards, are significantly quieter than mornings.
Book & Save. No pre-payment required, you pay on arrival, you can book your visit for any day up to 31st August. Booking is optional and you can just turn up. Why we take bookings?
